Day 1 (MONDAY): You Are Here: Finding Your Center in the World You’ve Got
Take stock of your context and experience, set your compass, and clarify your intentions for the week ahead.
Theme: No matter how you feel about your current context, you can be who you are, do what you’re here for, and venture boldly forward in your life.
Day 2 (TUESDAY): Doubling Down: Grounding in Your Humanity
Cultivate small, everyday, human-centered practices that increase vitality, nurture creativity and intuition, calm your system, recenter your focus, foster authenticity and clarity, and feed your soul.
Theme: There is boundless value in our messy, imperfect, embodied humanity – and it’s our job to protect and nurture it.
Day 3 (WEDNESDAY): Creatures: Designing Environments for Sustainable Humaning
Design the 5 environments that will help you “habitat yourself.”
Theme: As evolving creatures in an evolving world, our care and feeding is crucial.
Day 4 (THURSDAY): I’m Not a Robot: How to Human Better in an AI World
Wherever you fall on the AI-enthusiasm spectrum, explore ways to meet the moment with intention and vigor – while honoring your authenticity, your values, your bandwidth, and your mission.
Theme: In an increasingly automated world, let’s human better.
Day 5 (FRIDAY): Leveling Up: Evergreen Skills to Thrive in Complexity and Change
Stay anchored in your humanity as you develop the most important soft skills that will help you venture boldly forward into the unknown.
Theme: As we embrace the current moment and venture into the unknown, one of the best bets we can make is investing in soft skills that are evergreen and ever-essential.

How long is the event?
The event lasts 5 days, with 30-minute live sessions each day. Carrie will hang out for up to 15 minutes after each day’s session officially ends, so you can ask questions and enjoy the community.
Do I need to attend every day?
While attending live is highly encouraged to make the most of the experience, all sessions will be recorded and available for replay for 1 week after Being Human Week ends.
Is there a cost?
No, this is a completely free event! You’ll have the opportunity to offer support if you’d like to to help make this offering sustainable for Carrie – but there’s no pressure to do so.

Who is the creator/facilitator of Being Human Week?
Being Human Week is created and facilitated by Carrie Spaulding – coach, facilitator, nomad, artist, improviser, educator, speaker, and fellow human! Being a human herself, Carrie knows firsthand about the challenges and opportunities of humanizing right now, and will be your intrepid guide through the whole week.
What happens after the week is over?
At the end of the week, you’ll have the opportunity to continue your adventure with a range of options. But no pressure – this week designed to be valuable in and of itself!
