As part of your enrollment in The Lab, you get 3 months of free membership in Lab Studio—The Lab’s alumni group! Your membership begins with a taste while you are still in The Lab, and continues for 2 months beyond that.
What is Lab Studio?
Lab Studio is an ongoing membership group in which current Lab students and alumni come together to dive deeper into Lab concepts, play, explore, create, connect, and stay inspired.
It’s a space for you to enjoy and expand your Lab experience with the familiar faces of your cohort, while also meeting other amazing people who are on this journey.
The foundation of Lab Studio is a series of monthly 2-hour live sessions that include the elements of The Lab you love:
- Games, explorations, exercises, real-world experiments, and art play
- Creative and interactive concept & skill review, practice, and deepening
- Life applications and sharing
- Connection and discussion
In addition to deepening connections with your own cohort, you also get to know Lab alumni from other cohorts and make friends across the growing world of Lab grads.
There are also bonus events throughout the year!
Membership Structure and Norms
The norms are the same as The Lab course norms: camera-on, settled-in-place (not driving, multi-tasking, etc.), and it’s okay to arrive late or leave early.
Session Schedule
There are 12 facilitated 2-hour sessions over the course of the year. Sessions rotate through different days and times to accommodate a variety of schedules.
While you’re welcome at every session, most members aren’t able to attend all sessions.

A Few More Important Notes to Keep in Mind
Since enrollment and attendance in Lab Studio fluctuate, we may be a small group or a larger one. Either way, we have a great time and keep our Lab muscles and inspiration tuned up all year long.
By signing up, you agree to the terms and conditions, including the possibility that a session may need to be rescheduled, as well as consent for sessions to be recorded and clips to be used in promotional materials. If you have any questions about these terms, please reach out before attending.
