Back to School for Grown-Ups
A Live Workshop to Help You Focus, Thrive, and Treat Yourself Right All “School Year” Long
with Carrie Spaulding, PCC
Do we ever really grow out of that back-to-school feeling?
At any age, this time of year gives us a chance to tap into “new year energy” and prepare ourselves for success with as much care as our favorite teacher once did for us.
In this fun, playful workshop, we’ll tap into the magical energy of this time together. You’ll learn surprising ways you can set yourself up for a great year, using insights and activities drawn straight from the classroom.
I’m your guide, professional coach Carrie Spaulding. As a former classroom teacher who has spent 15 years helping adults create the careers, relationships, and lives they love, I know without a doubt that strategies that help kids do their best at school are game-changers for adults, too.
Together, we’ll rev up your autumn energy and help you lean into that magical back-to-school feeling that sticks with us even in adulthood!
You will:
Leave with ready to use what you learn in your grown-up life!
***This workshop is intentionally designed to be introvert- and extrovert-friendly!***
But Wait…There’s More!
Everyone who registers for the workshop will also get a super-fun printable kit of hand-drawn, hand-painted, hands-on tools for grownups – inspired by the classroom – to help you all year long. It includes a habit builder, goal tracker, motivational posters, weekly agenda planner, and more.
Before I became a coach, I was a classroom teacher for 9 years.
Here’s something I discovered very early on in coaching thirtysomethings through Thirtysomething Panic, and as I continued on my journey of helping adult humans, working with people ranging from 20somethings to 70somethings and running The Life Workshop:
Some of the things that work for kids are super-helpful for adults, too.
Weirdly, some of the things we think of as “kid stuff” can be the tools and strategies that make the difference between wanting to change and actually doing it!
I’ve been helping adults make use of these classroom-inspired hacks for years. So when I was invited to be part of Alan P. Brown’s FREE Crush It at Work and School Summit, August 31-September 3, I jumped at the chance to pull together all the insights, tools, and strategies that I sourced from my 9 years working with kids in the classroom and are so helpful for adults.
My interview with Alan is called Back to School for Grown-Ups: Classroom-Borrowed Hacks to Crush it at Work This Year.
There wasn’t nearly enough time in the interview to cover all the strategies, and of course listening is different from implementing…and implementing alone is different from implementing in a fun, high-vibe group of other humans, with a facilitator!!
That inspired me to create a chance to go deeper in an intimate group, with fun activities and exercises that will make you feel like you’re back in school in a good way.
